JETL having the facilities to treat Low TDS in Combined WasteWater Treatment Plant [CWWTP] and High TDS Effluents in Multiple Effect Evoporator [MEE].

Low TDS Effluents:
Low TDS Effluents are subjected to the Primary Treatment and then processed in the Biologial Treatment plant alogn with domestic wastewater in the Activated Sludge Treatment Process. We are meeting surface discharge standards part of the treated wastewater is using for recyling/reuse and remaining disposing into sewers. The designed capacity is 5000 m3/day.

High TDS Effluents:
The High TDS Effluents are processed in Multiple Effect Evoporator after the Pre Treatment, the concentrate generated is processed in Spray Dryer. The salt generated is sent to TSDF for further treatment and disposal. The condensate generated is processed in the Biological Treatment Process.The designed capacity is 400 m3/day.

1. Low Total Dissolved Solids Wastewater [LTDS Stream – TDIS ≤ 5000 mg/L]
2. High Total Dissolved Solids wastewater [HTDS Stream – TDIS > 5000 mg/L]

As per the direction of APPCB, JETL is treating High TDS (HTDS) and Low TDS (LTDS) wastewater.
